The City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur received an award for the \u00c1fram project, which was launched in April 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The project is primarily intended to improve the service for those who receive financial assistance from the local authority and to create opportunities for them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Rannveig Einarsd\u00f3ttir, Head of the Family Services Department, says the project has already yielded significant results. \u00a0\u201eThe financial benefit has been considerable, but above all, \u00c1fram has created an opportunity for individuals receiving financial assistance from the local council to participate actively.
