On Friday, 6th March, day-care providers in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur held a working day. The day was fully booked and started at 08:30 with the annual general meeting.\u00a0\u00a0 A\u00f0alhei\u00f0ur Run\u00f3lfsd\u00f3ttir was elected chair, with Sigr\u00ed\u00f0ur J\u00fal\u00edusd\u00f3ttir as vice-chair. The other board members elected were Eyr\u00fan G\u00edslad\u00f3ttir as treasurer, and \u00de\u00f3ra J\u00f3n\u00edna Hj\u00e1lmarsd\u00f3ttir and Stein\u00fe\u00f3ra \u00deorsteinsd\u00f3ttir as board members.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
After the general meeting, day-care providers attended an educational seminar hosted by the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur on the city's literacy policy and the importance of early intervention, which was presented by the speech and language therapists \u00c1sthildur Bj. Snorrad\u00f3ttir and Bjartey Sigur\u00f0ard\u00f3ttir.<\/p>\n
