The Marketing Bureau of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur will be a leader in making Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur a strong choice for people and businesses for residence, employment and leisure. By strengthening the collaboration between residents, businesses, associations and the local council, the Marketing Bureau will become an even greater platform for exchanging ideas on how to make a good town even better.<\/p>\n
A Project Manager is sought to lead the preparations for the establishment of the Marketing Agency of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, under the guidance of a preparatory group composed of representatives of residents, the business community in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, and the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.<\/p>\n
This is a temporary position for six months from May to October.<\/p>\n
The successful candidate must be able to start as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
Aims and objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n The development of a network for businesses as well as residents in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.<\/p>\n Data acquisition and analysis\u00a0<\/p>\n Planning and establishment of the Marketing Agency<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Education and competency requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n Education that is useful in the workplace.<\/p>\n Interpersonal skills<\/p>\n Experience in project management.<\/p>\n Initiative, organisation and independent working methods<\/p>\n Must have a burning interest in the project.<\/p>\n Familiarity with Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur is an advantage.<\/p>\n \u00a0Must be able to start work immediately.<\/p>\n Applications are accepted at the email address markadsstofa@hafnarfjordur.is<\/a> until the 13th of May.<\/p>\n
