The City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's service centre is on duty almost around the clock for gritting and sanding, but this is not always enough.<\/p>\n<p>As in previous years, residents of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur can collect sand from the town's Service Centre, located on Nor\u00f0urhellu. Sand can be taken from buckets, and bags and shovels are available on site.
