\u00c1rd\u00eds holds a Master's degree in Strategy, Management and Leadership from the Aarhus School of Business, a Bachelor's degree in International Marketing from the University of Reykjav\u00edk, as well as an international IATA\/UFTA certificate from the Icelandic School of Tourism Studies.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00c1rd\u00eds has extensive experience across a diverse range of fields and has, among other roles, worked as a managing director in a growing start-up and as the marketing and promotion manager for the Icelandic Innovation Centre, which supports the advancement of research, scientific and business ideas, as a specialist in the banking sector in the field of service management, as well as having long-term service and sales roles within the tourism industry. In recent months, \u00c1rd\u00eds has served as the executive director of a steering group for marine innovation in Vestmannaeyjar, a project which involved the establishment and operation of a new degree programme in marine innovation through the University of Reykjav\u00edk in collaboration with, among others, the University of Akureyri and the business community in Vestmannaeyjar.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00c1rd\u00eds was born and raised in Myrk\u00e1rbakki in H\u00f6rg\u00e1rdalur, but has lived in Reykjav\u00edk since 1998, and more recently in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. \u00c1rd\u00eds is in a relationship with Agnar Angant\u00fdsson and they have three children aged 9-16, \u00c1sd\u00eds Laufey, Eva Huld and Arn\u00fe\u00f3r M\u00e1ni. \u00a0<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
