Additionally, take<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sorpa.is\/thjonusta\/starfsstodvar\/endurvinnslustodvar\/\">recycling centres<\/a> against Christmas trees.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4>The other side of the fireworks \u2013 cleaning up and disposal<\/h4>\n<p>A lot of rubbish is generated over the New Year period when tonnes of fireworks are launched into the air. \u00a0As with so much else, many hands make light work. We encourage residents of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur to lead by example, clean up after themselves and dispose of the rubbish at their nearest recycling centre.
