The service is also available at Hvaleyrarsk\u00f3li. The support involves helping primary school pupils in years 1\u201310 with their homework, with the aim of supporting and strengthening them in their studies. Pupils do not need to book in advance; they can just turn up in good time with their work.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h4>Help with reading and homework<\/h4>\n<p>Brain-Tumour \u2013 Homework Help resumed on Thursday, 19th January at 3 p.m. The help is available once a week, on Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Library (basement, accessed via the children's section). The service is also available at Hvaleyrarsk\u00f3li in collaboration with the Red Cross on Fridays from 13:30 \u2013 15:00.<\/p>\n<p>The homework support consists of providing primary school pupils from Year 1. \u2013 10th grade, assistance with reading and homework with the aim of supporting and strengthening them in their studies, while also giving them the opportunity to learn about the excellent services available to support their learning.\u00a0Volunteers from the Red Cross in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and Gar\u00f0ab\u00e6r assist and guide the pupils. A special emphasis is placed on children of foreign origin, although of course, everyone who needs help is welcome.
