The conference aims to share and build further knowledge in the field of multiculturalism. The conference will, among other things, discuss how the Icelandic academic and professional community can work more closely together to increase knowledge in this field, and how the University of Iceland can contribute to the general societal debate. The conference is open to academics, professionals, students and anyone interested in multiculturalism, and presentations will be given in both Icelandic and English.<\/p>\n<p>The conference papers will address, among other things, social services, healthcare and employment participation, education, child-rearing, sport and leisure, history, religion, culture and languages, the social sciences, law, economics, business and politics. They will be delivered in numerous seminars, each with a specific theme.
