Nursery schools in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur celebrate Nursery School Day
\nincluding a formal opening and the launch of a new website which contains
\nVideos and information about creative projects that nurseries in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur have.
\nhave been working on in recent terms. The aim of the page is particularly to
\nto highlight the creative use of tablets in school work. <\/em> <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Municipality
\nhas made it its goal to tabletise all nurseries and primary schools
\nof the town in the coming years. Such an implementation takes time to prepare and carry out.
\nand the success of the implementation in each individual location depends considerably on the interest and
\nthe skills of those managing the implementation. The use of tablets in school work has
\ngot off to a good start in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's nurseries. Most of them have started to make use of
\nto use technology purposefully in their work and thereby enhance learning
\nof children by allowing them to try and experience things in the most varied way
\nApproaches and solutions are being developed that support positive learning.
\nof the children and play in line with the philosophy, aims and policies of the nurseries
\nof the municipality. The stated fields of learning for nursery schools according to the national curriculum are literacy and
\ncommunication, health and well-being, sustainability, science, creativity and culture.

\nis being used to work on each area individually. The children are encouraged to do so.
\nto share their opinions and ideas, tell stories or experiences in a recording or
\nwith photographs. They write and produce plays, and all of this calls for collaboration.,

\nMy 5-year-old came to me and asked where the tablet was. After a little while
\nI went to check on the lady, and by then she had got her tablet and found herself
\na maths programme to see how she should write the numbers. She would be
\nto make a game and needed to know how to write the numbers on the paper.
\nDaman had got herself some paper, colours, scissors and the tablet and had started to
\nWrite loads of numbers to create their game. It was so much fun to see and experience these.
\na connection with her, that the tablet is not just a recreational device for playing
\nAlthough she can be a spectator at games, she can also be a helping hand and assist when we need her.

It was considered
\nappropriate to use Nursery School Day to formally open this new and
