A Youth Assembly is a platform for young people to come together and discuss their issues in a constructive manner, as well as to put forward proposals for improvement.\u00a0What can be changed, what is being done well, and what can be done better? The Youth Council is responsible for collecting the ideas and proposals from young people and processing them. The findings will be presented to the town council.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>This year, four topics have been chosen: education, environment and planning, social life and culture, and finally prevention. It should be noted that the topics are very open, and participants are encouraged to discuss the issues they consider important.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h4>Time and place<\/h4>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>School of Medicine<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday, 15 March 2016<\/li>\n<li>The venue opens at 18:30 and the youth parliament begins at 19:00.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Agenda<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>18:30 House opens and ideas are collected<\/li>\n<li>19:00 The Mayor of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, Haraldur L. Haraldsson, says a few words<\/li>\n<li>19:05 Ina and Lara from the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Youth Council say a few words<\/li>\n<li>19:10     We will be divided into four groups: School affairs, prevention, environment and planning, social life and culture.
