The workshop <em>Your place \u2013 our town <\/em>will be open until 3 April and is a platform for residents, businesses and other interested parties to express their views and ideas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To provide a basis for future discussion and planning, working groups were tasked with reviewing the town as a whole and putting forward proposals for its planning and vision. The working groups' work is presented in two reports, and the material has also been displayed in a visual format at an open workshop in Hafnarborg.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a class=\"internal\" href=\"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/en\/media\/province\/hfj-th-byggd-01022016_sm.pdf\/\">Report on urban densification<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a class=\"internal\" href=\"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/en\/media\/organisation\/flensborgarhofnskipulagslysingmars2016.pdf\/\">Planning description for Flensburg Harbour<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A report on urban densification presents two scenarios that residents and all interested parties are asked to evaluate. The options are not necessarily mutually exclusive, and not everything can be done at once. \u00a0Intermediate options are possible, but the emphasis would need to be on one or the other scenario:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A city line and densification along its stops<\/li>\n<li>Ongoing development in Skar\u00f0shl\u00ed\u00f0, Hamranes and \u00c1sland 4 and 5<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Share your opinion by taking part in a survey.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Residents and all interested parties are invited to take part in a short survey and share their views on the two scenarios being presented at an open workshop.
