The conference, which was open to all teenagers aged 13-18, was<br \/>\nintended to provide an opportunity to discuss the issues facing young people in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The mayor, Haraldur L. Haraldsson, opened the meeting. Representatives of the Youth Council<br \/>\nFrom Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, L\u00e1ra R\u00f3s Fri\u00f0riksd\u00f3ttir and \u00cdna<br \/>\nKathinka Gr\u00f6nvold Stein\u00fe\u00f3rsd\u00f3ttir also gave a speech and a presentation.<br \/>\non the format of the Youth Parliament. At the start of the session, there was an opportunity to take notes.<br \/>\nIdeas on posters that were hung up. Four topics were up for discussion:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Environment and Planning \u2013 Group Leaders: Brynd\u00eds Bj\u00f6rk and Egill<\/li>\n<li>Education \u2013 Group Leaders: Katr\u00edn R\u00f3s<br \/>\nand Bjarki Steinar<\/li>\n<li>Social life and culture \u2013 Group leaders: Breki and Eva<\/li>\n<li>Prevention \u2013 Group Leaders: L\u00e1ra R\u00f3s and \u00cdna Kathinka<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Representatives on the Youth Council were responsible for leading the discussions as well as recording the main findings. As the young people were free to<br \/>\nWhen choosing a group, the greatest interest seemed to be in education. Diverse<br \/>\nand enjoyable discussions arose, and it is clear that the young people in<br \/>\nThe municipality is ready to take action. About 60-70 attended the meeting.<br \/>\nyoung people.
