Alongside monitoring, the security company will have statutory oversight of the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's fire alarm systems.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Gu\u00f0mundur Arason, CEO of Securitas, says the continued partnership is a sign that the past few years have been a success. <em>\u201eWe have done our best so far and will, of course, continue to do so. Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur is a large municipality and it is important that residents and visitors to the town feel safe and are safe. That is where we come in, among other things.\u201c <\/em>says Gudmundur. Haraldur L. Haraldsson, the Mayor of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, welcomes the new agreement and says it is an important part of the city's tendering procedures. \u201eTendering can involve significant savings for local authorities, but also a reassessment of services and an updating in line with changing times. Here, it is the safety of everyone that matters most, both staff and residents. The terms of the tender ensure that all aspects are well considered.
