Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur municipality and Marketing Agency of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur<\/a> signed an agreement on recent days for cooperation in the fields of employment, tourism and marketing. One of the roles of the Marketing Bureau of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur is to promote business development and to work on tourism and marketing matters in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur in close cooperation with the business community, the local council and others who wish to contribute to the town's development.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Marketing Office of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur will, in its projects, place a strong emphasis on strengthening the existing business community through robust information provision and promotion, attract new businesses and institutions to the town, increase its visibility and improve Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's competitive position, as well as enhance the standing of tourism in the region. The Marketing Bureau, with newly appointed CEO \u00c1sa Sigr\u00ed\u00f0ur \u00de\u00f3risd\u00f3ttir at the helm, will work steadily to promote increased cooperation and collaboration between businesses in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, both in terms of location and operations, thereby contributing to growth in retail and services. At the same time, an emphasis will be placed on promoting Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur as an ideal location for new businesses or for companies from across the country that are looking for a new site for their operations.<\/p>\n
