\nExhibitions opened at Hafnarborg. The Hafnarborg Autumn Exhibition 2016, the exhibition Attempt
\n\u2013 clay and more,<\/i><\/b> in the museum's main hall and then the exhibition of the Swedish designer
\nJenny Nordberg, 3\u20135 seconds \u2013 Fast, handmade production<\/i><\/b>,<\/i>
\nin Sverris Hall at Hafnarborg, where she will perform a performance piece at the opening.<\/p>\nExperiment \u2013 clay and more<\/h4>\n
The exhibition is a dialogue between visual art and clay, referencing the diverse worlds of industry, art, applied arts and design.
\nThe participants in the exhibition come from different professions in the visual arts. They all use clay in their work but were given
\ndifferent words to work out from them. The outcome is, on the one hand, fully-finished works on
\nwhile others show a study or a working method. Exhibitors

\nStein\u00fe\u00f3rsd\u00f3ttir<\/b> architect and R\u00fanu Thors<\/b> product designer but their idea
\nthat the exhibition was selected from submissions last autumn when a call was issued
\nwas looking for proposals for the autumn exhibition at the museum in 2016.<\/p>\n
The curators will be holding a curatorial talk for visitors on Saturday, 27 August.

\nachieved today and how it can be improved in the future. In their performance in
\nThe port city sets up a production process where it tests how
\nDifferent elements of the handmade and the mass-produced can go hand in hand.<\/p>\n
\nNordberg<\/b> is an industrial designer based in Sweden who has received
\nRecognition and praise as a progressive designer on the international stage. Jenny
\npositions itself between art and design and seeks to expand
\nContemporary ideas about design and designers. The project is funded by the Swedish
