Work on refurbishing the football pitches at all the town's primary schools is nearing completion. The crumb rubber surface on four pitches has been replaced with certified rubber material, and new artificial turf has been laid on the pitches at Hvaleyrarsk\u00f3li, Setbergssk\u00f3li and \u00d6ldut\u00fanssk\u00f3li. \u00a0The work on the three pitches where the turf was to be replaced was scheduled to be completed by October at the latest, but it has now been finished considerably ahead of schedule. \u00a0We are very pleased with how quickly this project has been completed and we thank the children and young people of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur for their understanding and cooperation.<\/p>\n
