The Employment Centre began its operations in the spring of 2010 with an agreement between
\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Municipality and the Employment Authority. The Centre
\nhas provided job placement, advice and other services to jobseekers in
\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. The Employment Centre was established in response to the tightening of
\nlabour market and the consequences of the economic crisis. There have been changes in this respect
\nthe last few quarters and unemployment has decreased significantly. The employment centre
\nplayed a significant role at this time and was crucial in the service of
\njobseekers. In addition, the Employment Centre has been a vital link in
\nThe Family Service project continues.<\/p>\n
