Only practising artists with permanent residency in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur are eligible for the award, based on their registered address for the last 12 months.<\/p>\n<p>Applications or substantiated recommendations are invited, which the Cultural and Tourism Committee will take into consideration when selecting the Town Artist. Applications and recommendations must be submitted on the designated forms, which are available on the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's website.<\/p>\n<p>The 2017 Artist in Residence of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur receives one million kr\u00f3nur.<\/p>\n<p><b>The deadline for submission is 1 February. &nbsp;<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/en\/media\/menning-og-mannlif\/TilnefningBaejarlistamadurHafnarfjardar2017Eydublad.pdf\/\">A nomination\/suggestion form can be found here.<\/a> <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Nominations\/suggestions can be sent to the email address: menning@hafnarfjordur.is on the designated forms.
