A careers and education fair is currently being held at Flensborgarsk\u00f3linn in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, and yesterday we were invited to present our organisation, the jobs we do, and the education and skills required to carry them out. <\/p>\n
Numerous students attended a special presentation and visited the promotional stand of the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, where they found out about, among other things, summer jobs that will be advertised in the coming days and are overseen by Ragna Rut Magn\u00fasd\u00f3ttir. The school has been decorated from top to bottom in the style of Disney films, and the students' faces were beaming with joy as the annual ball approaches. Arni Stef\u00e1n Gu\u00f0j\u00f3nsson, a primary school teacher, presented jobs in the primary school, where he teaches social studies and life skills to older pupils at \u00d6ldut\u00fanssk\u00f3li. Hrund Gu\u00f0mundsd\u00f3ttir, a nursery school headteacher, and \u00c1sger\u00f0ur Kristj\u00e1nsd\u00f3ttir, an occupational therapist, presented the diverse jobs in a nursery school, as they both work at the \u00c1lfasteinn nursery school. \u00de\u00f3rd\u00eds R\u00fariksd\u00f3ttir, an occupational therapist, presented the work of occupational therapists who work with disabled people in various settings within the community. \u00de\u00f3rd\u00eds works at Vinaskj\u00f3li, a leisure facility for disabled young people, and in vocational training for people with disabilities who have graduated from a vocational programme called Geitingarnir. Andri \u00d3marsson, a project manager, presented his work in general administration at the town hall, where his responsibilities include organising cultural events and various development and improvement projects related to human resources. Olof Lara Agustsdottir, a social worker, presented her work with the family service, providing advice and support to families and individuals. <\/p>\n
