The Bjartir dagar cultural festival will be held from 19th to 23rd April, in connection with the first day of summer, as in previous years. Bjartir dagar is a participatory festival and is based on institutions, voluntary organisations, businesses and individuals taking part in creating events related to the festival, or taking part in the programmes organised by others.<\/p>\n
Ideas are sought for the programme of Bright Days 2017. It can be something traditional that is already on the programme, or something completely new; something on a grand scale or more modest in size; something for children or something for adults, but in any case, something that encourages local residents to take an active part.<\/p>\n
To support initiatives, a portion of the Bright Days budget, up to one million, will be allocated to various smaller projects taking place during Bright Days. Institutions, non-governmental organisations, businesses and individuals can apply for funding for projects taking place from 19-23 April, up to a maximum of 100,000 kr.
