Applications must be submitted electronically by 15 March 2017. Each application may include only one project.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Once a year, the Culture and Tourism Committee of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur advertises cultural grants for cultural activities to promote the cultural life of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. The aim is to support cultural activities in accordance with the city's cultural policy and to support individuals and organisations in artistic and cultural creation. Artists, organisations, institutions or cultural events must be connected to Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur in some way. \u00a0This can be through permanent residency, by the event taking place in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, or by featuring the cultural activities of the city. Funding is not provided for education or general operating costs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The allocation rules can be found&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/en\/media\/stefnur-og-reglur\/Reglur-fyrir-styrki-til-menningarstafsemi.pdf\/\">Here<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The application must state the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Objectives, description and justification of the application<\/li>\n<li>Grant amount<\/li>\n<li>Time and Work Schedule<\/li>\n<li>Further funding<\/li>\n<li>Cost estimate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Culture and Tourism Committee assesses applications based on the objectives of the projects and how they contribute to enhancing a diverse cultural life for the benefit of the town's residents and artists from Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. Consideration is given to the feasibility of the projects, the cost estimate, as well as the timescale and work plan.
