The occasion was to launch with formal and unconventional<br \/>\nThe town's health promotion and empowerment activities were discontinued, but this was recently approved.<br \/>\na health strategy for Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and the coming days, weeks and months will be spent on<br \/>\nimplementation of measures aimed at enhancing residents' well-being and promoting open spaces<br \/>\nand to level out access and encourage residents to consume healthy food overall.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In the magnificent FH athletics stadium in Kaplakriki, they came together on<br \/>\nin the morning, around 250 people of all ages to take part in a marathon walk and<br \/>\nHealthy games and thus mark the beginning of the implementation of health-promoting measures in<br \/>\nGreetings from Healthy Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. The group walked and\/or ran a total of just over a whole<br \/>\nmarathon or about 56 kilometres. At the health games, cheerful senior citizens turned up, about 100<br \/>\nchildren from the health-promoting nurseries of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, 50 children from Hvaleyrarsk\u00f3li<br \/>\nwhich is a health-promoting primary school and around 70 young people from Flensburg School<br \/>\nwhich is a health-promoting secondary school, along with other distinguished guests. Students in<br \/>\nFlensborgarsk\u00f3li organised the health games, the youngest children took part in<br \/>\nthe games and the primary school pupils about healthy and good refreshments after training<br \/>\nclosed. Sturdy senior citizens walked round and round; before the games, while<br \/>\nbefore the games and after the games. 29 individuals who in total walked 223 laps<br \/>\nor just over 50 kilometres in total this morning. Over the winter months, a large<br \/>\nA group of senior citizens meets daily in the sports hall and keeps a register.<br \/>\nthe walk. In February, 778 people walked a total of 7,669 laps, or just over 1,733 km.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ambitious<br \/>\nA health policy for the health town of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Municipality of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur entered into an agreement with the Office of the Chief Medical Officer in<br \/>\nMarch 2015 regarding participation in the Healthy Community project, and the municipality has<br \/>\nA health strategy was developed in collaboration with residents, staff and other stakeholders.<br \/>\nThe City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur has drawn up an action plan that directly addresses the strategy.<br \/>\nOne of the main objectives of the Health Strategy of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur is to foster general well-being.<br \/>\nresidents, spiritual and physical, of all ages and to strengthen and enhance self-identity and<br \/>\ngood well-being. Among other things, increased cooperation with voluntary organisations, professionals,<br \/>\ninterested parties and healthcare for health promotion and well-being and to<br \/>\ninformation on services available in that area should be increased.<br \/>\na collaborative platform will be established for the relevant parties concerned, with participation<br \/>\nyouth council, elders' council, advisory council, newcomers' council and neighbourhood council where among<br \/>\notherwise, protective factors against anxiety and distress will be worked on. It is proposed that<br \/>\nPsychological services will be strengthened within the town's nursery and primary schools. Emphasis is also placed<br \/>\nto promote healthy food choices in institutions and facilities within<br \/>\nof the town, working on the promotion and education of healthy nutrition, investigating acoustics and<br \/>\nTime for meals in schools and an emphasis on reducing waste. It is also planned to<br \/>\nTo promote and raise awareness of the town's footpaths and open spaces as recreational areas.<br \/>\nthe family and increase access to the town's swimming pools.
