The tenders were opened at 11 a.m. at the premises of the Environmental and Planning Services of the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur at Nor\u00f0urhellu 2. \u00a0In mid-March, the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur invited tenders from contractors for the construction of a care home at S\u00f3lvang in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, a three-storey building with a basement beneath part of the structure, as well as a connecting corridor linking the new building to the existing S\u00f3lvang premises. \u00a0The building is approximately 3,900 m\u00b2. The project includes the construction of the building, complete with full interior and exterior finishes, as well as site works. The completion date is 31 August 2018.<\/p>\n<p><b>The following offers were received:<\/b><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00cdstak hf. 1,687,275,324.-<\/li>\n<li>Eykt ehf. 1,599,306,322.-<\/li>\n<li>J\u00e1verk Ltd. 1,658,655,430<\/li>\n<li>Munck \u00cdslandi ehf. 1,460,336,306<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The cost estimate amounted to kr. 1,515,686,540. The meeting members were asked if they had any reservations or comments on the tender documents.
