{"id":13325,"date":"2017-04-20T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-04-20T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/nytt-grillhus-a-vidistadatuni\/"},"modified":"2022-12-07T15:01:58","modified_gmt":"2022-12-07T15:01:58","slug":"new-barbecue-hut-at-vidistadatuni","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/en\/nytt-grillhus-a-vidistadatuni\/","title":{"rendered":"New barbecue hut at V\u00ed\u00f0ista\u00f0at\u00fan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>On the first of May, While the weather was changing and there was a light dusting of snow, the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur formally opened a new barbecue hut in V\u00ed\u00f0ista\u00f0at\u00fan, and town councillors served sausages to visitors and passers-by after the V\u00ed\u00f0avangshlaupi\u00f0, which took place in the early hours on the first morning of summer.\u00a0<\/em><em>Plans are underway to continue making V\u00ed\u00f0ista\u00f0at\u00fan even more enjoyable than it is now, and the next project will focus on increasing the number of play equipment and benches in the area.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In 2015, a working group on the future use of V\u00ed\u00f0ista\u00f0at\u00fan submitted recommendations for measures and developments aimed at creating more life on the lawn and encouraging residents to make better use of it and its facilities. Work has been underway on the implementation and preparation to put the group's ideas into practice.
