At the same time, the Bright Days were in<br \/>\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur officially launched its cultural festival, which was also its first town festival.<br \/>\nThe summer programme runs until Sunday. A special emphasis is placed on participation.<br \/>\nchildren and teenagers at Bj\u00f6rtir d\u00e6gir and the First of June is a big part of<br \/>\nthe celebrations.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A group of pupils from the 3rd grades of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's primary schools sang<br \/>\nSaw off the winter and celebrated the arrival of summer at Thorsplan in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur this morning.<br \/>\nThis custom has been observed for years, and they have ornate hats and headwear.<br \/>\nfollowed the benches from year to year.
