Four bids were received for the project, and Munck \u00cdslandi's bid proved to be the lowest. The project's cost estimate was 1,515,686,540, and the contractor's bid was below the estimate at 1,460,336,306.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The project is the construction of a care home at S\u00f3lvang in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, a three-storey building with a basement under part of the building, as well as a connecting corridor linking the new building to the existing S\u00f3lvang premises. The building is approximately 4,200 square metres in size. The project includes the construction of the building, complete with full interior and exterior finishes, as well as site works.
