Nursery School Nor\u00f0urberg
\nhas published a handbook on early intervention in the language stimulation of preschool children and
\nPreparation for reading. The handbook was recently presented at a special launch event.

\nat the nursery school which has taken place over the last two years.<\/i><\/p>\n
The handbook introduces, among other things, procedures, language stimulation, and the classification of books.

\nthe nursery and the handbook, for instance, addresses screening for potential
\nchildren's reading difficulties. The game is the focus and the book presents

\nThe project's development team were Gunnhildur Gr\u00edmsd\u00f3ttir, deputy head teacher of the nursery school, and
\nthe department heads L\u00f3a Bj\u00f6rk Hallsd\u00f3ttir, Sigr\u00ed\u00f0ur Jenn\u00fd Halld\u00f3rsd\u00f3ttir and
\nJ\u00f3hanna Berentsd\u00f3ttir. The head teacher of Nor\u00f0urberg is Anna Borg Har\u00f0ard\u00f3ttir.
\nComparable work on a bespoke and adapted manual is already underway in
\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's newest nursery school, Bjarkalundur.<\/p>\n
