Capital Region Agency publishes Reykjavik Guest Card<\/a> (Reykjavik City Card<\/a>) but in the first six months
\nYear-on-year, sales on the cards were 90% higher compared to the same period last year.
\nThat is a much greater increase in sales than in the flow of tourists to the country at a similar time.
\ntime, but according to data from the Tourist Board, there was a 47% increase in departures from the country.
\nat Leif Erikson Airport for the first five months of the year, compared with the previous year
\nThe card is sold in nearly 50 locations that cater to tourists.

Guest Card Holders
\nis granted access to twelve main museums in Reykjav\u00edk, the Zoo and
\nVi\u00f0ey ferry. Cardholders also get unlimited access to the city's swimming pools and bus service.
\nThe card also provides, among other things, a discount on the price of admission to restaurants, museums,
\nshops and swimming pools of other municipalities in the Capital Region. The visitor card
\nis available as 24, 48 and 72-hour cards.   <\/p>\n
