The project and fundraising are coming.<br \/>\ndue to a tidal wave which struck the Greenlandic village of Nuugattsiaq in the early hours of the morning<br \/>\non Sunday 18 June, which resulted in four deaths and eleven houses being destroyed<br \/>\nincluding the village's electricity supply, its shop and its primary school.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>As stated in the request from the national collection to<br \/>\nAfter the municipalities and regional associations of municipalities, the Greenlanders are next.<br \/>\nthe neighbours of Icelanders and a deep friendship between the nations. One of the clearest tokens of this,<br \/>\nthat the Greenlanders held a nationwide collection when the great avalanche fell on<br \/>\nFlateyri 1995. The aim of the project is, among other things, to send a strong message to the Greenlanders.<br \/>\na message that they can always rely on Icelanders.
