Their jobs<br \/>\nare extremely important for the municipality and the mayor and managers decided<br \/>\nThe work-study group is to throw a party for the group at Thorsplan to say thank you.<br \/>\nespecially for well-done work so far this summer. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>The Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Work Camp primarily focuses on environmental issues.<br \/>\nand thus play a major part in cleaning the town and maintaining the vegetation, streets and<br \/>\nfootpaths during the summer. The work experience staff play an important role.<br \/>\nin creating the town's appearance, that it is clean and tidy. A large group<br \/>\nalso works at the town's and sports clubs' play schemes where they learn to<br \/>\nworking with a group of younger children, providing them with guidance and advice. Such work is<br \/>\ngiving and shaping for the future. The young people who are working on the clean-up this summer<br \/>\nwork in groups. Each group is responsible for its own neighbourhood and thus works steadily and evenly.<br \/>\nthrough existing projects in each location. A great emphasis is placed, among other things, on<br \/>\nOur common good and pride, the city centre, with the aim of having it<br \/>\ntidy and smart for all who visit. It has been decorated<br \/>\nthe town with flowers and the pavements and paths swept regularly. Workhouse staff<br \/>\nto carry out important tasks until August. <\/p>\n<p><b>Long, hungry, naked<br \/>\nMangason<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur recently purchased a used vacuum cleaner.<br \/>\nin a clean-up project in the centre of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and elsewhere. Her first project was<br \/>\nto clean up the little bit of rubbish that was left in the city centre before the 17th of June celebrations<br \/>\nand she has been on watch ever since. The vacuum was given a name today and was considered<br \/>\nappropriate that the young people from the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Work Club, their group leaders and<br \/>\nappropriate officials would be present at the naming, as it concerned a device that<br \/>\nIt is very useful to them in their work. A suggestion for a name came from interested residents. Mangi<br \/>\nThe vacuum cleaner will be called Mangy, which is considered quite fitting as he, Mangi, is, after all, always<br \/>\nhungry and up for more rubbish. The name also has a history here in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, but a man<br \/>\nA man named Mangi worked for a long time in cleaning jobs here in the Fjord, and is his<br \/>\nand Gunnar D\u00f3, among others, were mentioned for their contribution to the cleansing work.
