The school consists of<br \/>\nof premises for two parallel primary schools of approximately 6,800 m\u00b2<sup>2<\/sup>,<br \/>\nmusic school approx. 480 m<sup>2<\/sup>, nursery school approx. 760 m<sup>2 <\/sup>and<br \/>\nsports hall approx. 870 m<sup>2<\/sup>, a total of about 8,910 m<sup>2<\/sup>. Eykt will begin<br \/>\nConstruction at the school will begin this August, and the development will take place in three phases.<br \/>\nphases. The final completion date is 15 June 2020 and the total contract sum is kr.<br \/>\n3.979.077.263.-<\/i><\/p>\n<p>First stage<br \/>\nThe construction is due to be completed on 6 July 2018, and a primary school will then be in Skar\u00f0shl\u00ed\u00f0.<br \/>\nmove into the accommodation or pupils in years 1-4 who are starting their schooling in<br \/>\nthe parish hall of \u00c1stjarnar parish this autumn 2017. 15 June 2019 at premises for<br \/>\na nursery to be fully completed and the ongoing construction of housing for<br \/>\nprimary school. On 15 June 2020, the premises are to be fully built and include<br \/>\na primary school, a music school and a sports hall at the school.<\/p>\n<p>The buildings<br \/>\nwill be designed according to the concept of universal design.
