The old castle was removed, the area was prepared, and work began on installing a new, fantastic castle. New surfacing was laid, consisting of artificial grass and a soft safety surface. The old frames were also removed as they were old and unusable. In their place, we got some great spring-loaded equipment for 2-4 children, which has been a great hit with the pupils. Staff and pupils are delighted with this refurbishment of the play area, and it is a pleasure to start the new school year at Vesturkot Nursery School when the council has invested so well in the maintenance of the play equipment.
