The project will be launched and will formally conclude with an international <strong>Let's walk to school<\/strong><strong> the day<\/strong><strong>. <\/strong>The project runs for almost a month, until 4 October. The aim of the project is to encourage children to adopt <strong>active mode of travel<\/strong> to and from school and to improve their ability to travel safely in traffic.<\/p>\n<p><em>One of the simplest ways to increase physical activity in your daily life is to choose an active mode of transport, such as walking, cycling, running, roller skating, skateboarding or something else. The benefits are not only limited to mental and physical well-being, but it is also an environmentally friendly and cost-effective way to get around.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Every year, millions of children in over 40 countries around the world take part in <strong>Let's walk to school<\/strong> in one way or another.
