The City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's Service Centre is on duty 24\/7 for gritting and sanding, but this is not always sufficient.<\/p>\n<p>Salt and sand can be useful with the forecast for the coming days. Residents can collect sand from the Service Centre at Nor\u00f0urhella 2 to improve safety on nearby footpaths and driveways. Residents are encouraged to bring their own containers, but it is also possible to get a bag on site, where shovels are also available for residents to use.
