Spring has truly arrived in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and the harbingers of spring are everywhere. On L\u00e6kjargata, paving slabs are being laid up the street on both sides, and contractors were working busily to finish the job before the weekend; hopefully, the work will be completed before the Bright Days.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A massive clean-up campaign is on the horizon, involving businesses and individuals, and the environmental patrol is also going into full swing. All these projects will get underway straight after Easter, and hopefully the town will be sparkling clean for the Bright Days, which are in mid-April.<\/p>\n
Street sweepers then drive around the town, having been able to do so since the snow melted at the end of the month. It is quite a task to sweep and clean all the town's streets, but it is done according to a set procedure.<\/p>\n
