This is a change to the 'Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur City Centre' detailed plan.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The amendment to the detailed plan entails that on the plot at L\u00e6kjargata 2, where \u201cDvergurinn\u201d previously stood, five buildings will be permitted, along with a shared car park in the basement. The plot boundaries on the street-facing sides will be shifted, and a right of way for pedestrians will be established onto the plot from Brekkugata. The land use of the plot will remain unchanged and will be in accordance with the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Master Plan 2013\u20132025. Residential, retail and service uses are proposed for the site. The easement for parking on the plot to the east of 7 Su\u00f0urgata will be removed, as will the easement for access to the northernmost part of the plot. In its place, an easement for a footpath will be established. The easement for offices on the 2nd floor of Su\u00f0urgata 7, in the \u201cG\u00f3\u00f0templarah\u00fasi\u00f0\u201d, will be cancelled, and it will be permitted to install windows and doors on the east side of the building. The plot east of Su\u00f0urgata 7 will become an open public space.<\/p>\n<p>The proposal will be on display at the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Service Centre, Strandgata 6, and at the Environmental and Planning Service, Nor\u00f0urhellu 2, from 9 May to 20 June 2018, and here on the website.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/en\/media\/midbaear\/laekjarg.2_dsk.br.loka.pdf\/\">Change to the detailed plan for Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur town centre. L\u00e6kjargata 2 and Su\u00f0urgata 7.<\/a>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Those who consider themselves to have an interest are given the opportunity to make comments on the amendment, which must be submitted in writing to the Environmental and Planning Services of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Municipality no later than 20 June 2018.
