It is planned to build 12 flats on<br \/>\nthe plots at 12 and 16 H\u00e1degisskar\u00f0 in Skar\u00f0shl\u00ed\u00f0 in accordance with the tender specification and are to be returned<br \/>\nfully furnished. There are 6 two-room flats of 50 m<sup>2<\/sup> apartments, 4<br \/>\nThree-room, 60 m\u00b2<sup>2<\/sup> apartments and 2 four-room, 80 m\u00b2<sup>2<\/sup><br \/>\nflats, six flats on each plot.<\/p>\n<p>The Municipality of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur has established a non-profit foundation which builds<br \/>\non laws concerning social housing which the tenants themselves will eventually have to<br \/>\nto manage, but the municipality will be a party to. The construction cost of the premises is<br \/>\n307.9 million kr\u00f3na, the Housing Finance Fund has approved a foundation grant of 50<br \/>\nmillions of kroner and the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur 36.9 million. Rent will cover<br \/>\nof loan repayments, finance charges and running costs of the property but be<br \/>\nHowever, this is lower than usual, as you only need to take out a loan for 70% of<br \/>\nconstruction costs. The aim is for the work to begin this summer.<\/p>\n<p>It is clear that the rent will be considerably lower than on the open market.<br \/>\nmarket.
