The project includes the reconstruction of the road from Reykjanesbraut to Elli\u00f0avatnsveg, the construction of two roundabouts, connections to Brekku\u00e1s, Klettahl\u00ed\u00f0 and Elli\u00f0avatnsveg, as well as new green areas and hedges. The project will also involve relocating utility pipelines for Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Waterworks, HS Veitur, and M\u00edla.<i>&nbsp;<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>The work will be carried out by the contractor H\u00e1fell ehf. The roadworks are scheduled to be largely completed this autumn, with the laying of the lower asphalt layer due to be finished on 30 September this year.
