It is now permitted to keep a dog or cat in social<br \/>\napartments owned by the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. The permit is subject to the condition that if<br \/>\nThe keeping of dogs and cats is subject to a shared entrance or staircase.<br \/>\nconsent of two-thirds of the owners. If there is a private entrance, keeping pets is<br \/>\npermitted.<\/p>\n<p>Pet ownership has until now been banned in social<br \/>\nHousing of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur municipality.
