\"Gudrunthorsteinsdottirmannaudsstjori\"Gu\u00f0r\u00fan \u00deorsteinsd\u00f3ttir has been appointed Human Resources Manager for the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. \u00a0From 2008 to 2015, Gu\u00f0r\u00fan worked as the Human Resources Manager for Reykjanesb\u00e6r, where she was responsible, among other things, for implementing the council's policies across all its institutions, as well as managing and leading professional development.<\/p>\n

Gu\u00f0r\u00fan completed a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Iceland in 2015, a diploma in Human Resource Management from EH\u00cd in 2009, and graduated in 1998 with a B.Ed degree from the Teachers' College of Iceland. Gu\u00f0r\u00fan has worked at ISAVA since 2015, providing HR consultancy to management and the Aviation Security department, as well as handling recruitment. A total of 21 applications were received for the position, but two were withdrawn. Gu\u00f0r\u00fan will start on 1 October. <\/p>\n
