Occupational therapists at work<\/a> <\/p>\nOccupational therapists
\nare the professional group that are specially trained to work with disabled people on
\nall ages, from cradle to grave.. The philosophy of occupational therapists is based, among other things, on
\nequality, respect for self-determination, an independent life and human dignity,
\nas every person is unique and everyone has the right to full participation in
\nin society on their own terms. With this in mind, occupational therapists
\nto take part in shaping services and removing barriers in society for that purpose
\nto improve the living conditions and quality of life of disabled people. In addition, the struggle for rights and
\nAdvocacy for the rights of disabled people is a major part of the work of occupational therapists.<\/p>\n

\nOccupational therapists are extremely important wherever they are in society and work
\nOccupational therapists in a broad range of professional fields and in diverse sectors of society.
\nIn the new Act on services for disabled people with long-term support needs
\nwhich came into force yesterday, 1 October 2018, specifically provide for
\ndevelopment coach in Article 26 on the eligibility of staff. It states that \u201cLocal authorities shall have on appointment
\n\u201dto authorise developmental trainers to carry out tasks under this Act.\" This article
\nEmphasises the importance and unique role of occupational therapists in the provision of services for disabled people.<\/p>\n
