Fjar\u00f0arp\u00f3sturinn, in collaboration with the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and the Christmas Village in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, will be hosting a live webcast on Sunday, 2 December. The broadcast will be from the old apothecary in Hafnarborg and will feature, among others, well-known artists such as Bubbi Morthens, Gu\u00f0r\u00fan \u00c1rn\u00fd Karlsd\u00f3ttir, J\u00f3n J\u00f3nsson and Fri\u00f0rik D\u00f3r. Around 50 people will appear in the programme, and IKEA is responsible for furnishing three elegant and festive sets for the broadcast.<\/p>\n

This innovative and fun idea came about a few weeks ago, and the individuals behind it are Olga Bj\u00f6rt \u00de\u00f3r\u00f0ard\u00f3ttir, editor of the Fjar\u00f0arp\u00f3sturinn, and \u00deorvar\u00f0ur Go\u00f0i Valdimarsson of the production company Skj\u00e1skot. Olga Bj\u00f6rt and the knowledgeable media personality and Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur native, J\u00f3natan Gar\u00f0arsson, will be the presenters, and the programme will be split into several 45-minute episodes throughout the day. The web series, which will be built around interviews, entertainment segments and musical interludes, will be broadcast simultaneously on the \u201elike\u201c pages of all participants, the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, the Christmas Village and the Fjallap\u00f3sturinn, and will therefore be seen by many Facebook users. The content of the show lives on after the broadcast. <\/p>\n

Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur welcomes this initiative and looks forward to sailing into the Advent season on these innovative and creative Christmas notes with all interested parties. <\/p>\n
