At the meeting of the Planning and Building Committee of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur on 4 December 2018, the following resolution was passed:<\/p>\n

The Planning and Building Committee approves the submitted draft of the planning statement for its part, that the procedure shall be in accordance with Article 40 of the Planning Act No. 123\/2010, and refers the matter to the Town Council for final decision.<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Town Council approved the proposed description at its meeting on 12 December.<\/p>\n

When work on the preparation of a draft local plan begins, the local council shall prepare a description of the planning project. This shall set out the council's priorities for the local plan, information on the underlying assumptions and existing policies, and the planned procedure. such as on the promotion and consultation on the plan's development with the residents of the municipality and other stakeholders.<\/p>\n
