The action plan is based on the results of the 2017 noise mapping, along with noise maps showing sound levels at a height of 4 m above ground level.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"tmp_1545383736729_9\"> <a href=\"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/en\/media\/umhverfi-og-gotur\/2018_AdgerdaaaetlunHavadi_Hafnarfjordur_drog-17.12.2018.pdf\/\">A draft action plan can be accessed HERE<\/a> <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Residents are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the plan and send any comments to Helga Stef\u00e1nsd\u00f3ttir, Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Municipality, via email. <a href=\"mailto:helgas@hafnarfjordur.is\">helgas@hafnarfjordur.is<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur will, following the consultation period, consider all comments received and make changes to the plan if deemed necessary. It is anticipated that the plan will then be presented this autumn, following approval by the town council.
