Sara R\u00f3s<br \/>\nJakobsd\u00f3ttir, a dancer from the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Dance Sports Association, is an athlete.<br \/>\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur 2018 and Axel B\u00f3asson, a golfer from Keili Golf Club, Sportsman<br \/>\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's 2018 Team of the Year is the men's and women's first teams.<br \/>\nin athletics at Fimleikaf\u00e9lag Hafnarfjar\u00f0ar.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The City Council of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and the Sports and Leisure Committee held<br \/>\nA day before the presentation of awards to athletes competing for Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.<br \/>\nteams, national champions, winners of cup competitions, Nordic champions, world champions<br \/>\nand special achievements, along with the selection of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's sportswoman, sportsman and sports team<br \/>\nin 2018. Nearly 500 individuals were recognised at the ceremony but<br \/>\nin addition, 20 million kr\u00f3nur were allocated from a fund that Rio Tinto in Iceland,<br \/>\n\u00cdBH and the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur are collaborating with the aim of strengthening sports activities for 18-year-olds and<br \/>\nyounger.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Female athlete, male athlete and sports team<br \/>\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Team of champions<br \/>\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur 2018 is the senior men's and women's athletics championship.<br \/>\nGymnastics Club of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, but the team became the Icelandic club champions in<br \/>\nIndoor athletics, combined men's and women's team, Icelandic Champion<br \/>\nwomen's indoor athletics club team, club team cup champion in<br \/>\nathletics, the men's indoor team and club cup champion in<br \/>\nIn athletics, the women's team competed outdoors. In addition, the team had a large number of competitors in all<br \/>\nnational team competitions in the men's and women's categories during the year.<\/p>\n<p>Sara R\u00f3s Jakobsd\u00f3ttir, a dancer from the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Dance Sports Association, is<br \/>\nAthlete of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur in 2018. Sara R\u00f3s is a multiple-time Icelandic and<br \/>\nChampion in Standard, Latin and 10 Dances this year. She competes for the national team.<br \/>\nThe Icelandic Dance Sport Federation, together with its dance clubs, took part in a number of<br \/>\ninternational competitions around the world with good success. This year, 6th place in<br \/>\nThe final of the European Championship in 10 Dances was their best achievement.<\/p>\n<p>Axel B\u00f3asson<br \/>\nA golfer from Keili Golf Club is the Athlete of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur for 2018. Axel<br \/>\nis one of the country's best golfers and is in his third year as a professional. He<br \/>\nis the men's Icelandic champion and points champion of the year. He won the European Championship<br \/>\nprofessionals in mixed teams alongside Birgir Leif, Vald\u00eds and \u00d3laf\u00eda at Gleneagles<br \/>\nin Scotland.
