The Municipality of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur is now preparing a new
\nTender for travel services for disabled people in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.
\nWe would love to hear from users, carers and others who
\nKnow and use the ride-hailing service. A new Facebook page is a platform.<\/a> in order to
\nto provide feedback to the staff and the oversight group

The Family Council of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur proposes that it be abandoned.
\nfrom cooperation with other municipalities within SSH on travel services for disabled people and
\nInstead, preparations will be started for a tender for transport services for
\ndisabled in accordance with the law on municipal social services and the procurement regulations of the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. The purpose of
\nthat a tender will be issued more efficient service with
\nincreased autonomy for users without compromising the service as defined in

The Family Council agrees to appoint a working group for preparations.
\nTender. The working group will consist of three representatives.
\nappointed by the Family Council together with a representative from the Advisory Council for People with Disabilities. The group will be supported by the Procurement Manager, the Head of the Finance Department and the Head of Family Services. The working group is authorised to obtain
\nadvice from experts where necessary and is also intended to take into account
\nthe existing service description and operational information that have been submitted
\non the part of the current operator. <\/p>\n

The working group shall complete its work by 1 June 2019.<\/p>\n

Explanatory statement<\/h4>\n

A transport service for disabled people is, by its nature, a local service that
\nis in many cases based on trust and personal service for a vulnerable group. Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's share of the joint transport service is in
\naround 15.71 TP3T, which is just over 62,000 trips per year. The Municipality of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur carried out this project.
\nuntil the end of 2014 when a contract for a joint taxi service came into effect
\nvalue. Thus, there is a great deal of experience with
\nthe project is present at the municipality, in addition to the director of the department
\nFamily Services of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur has sat on the social services managers' advisory group.
\nthe capital region on behalf of SSH as the municipality's representative on a professional advisory group on
