Sigurj\u00f3n has run his own business since 2013.<br \/>\ncompany, Function web consulting, as well as working as a lecturer in web media at<br \/>\nUniversity of Iceland. Before that, Sigurj\u00f3n worked as a department manager for web and<br \/>\nOnline banking at \u00cdslandsbanki, web and communications manager at the University of Iceland and department manager<br \/>\nof the web department at Kaup\u00feing bank. Task<br \/>\nSigurj\u00f3n's recent semesters have in particular focused on user-centred design and<br \/>\nDevelopment of user processes.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 48 applications for the post of Head of Department were received, but 5 withdrew.<br \/>\nwithdraw his application.
