One of the main objectives of the Health Town of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur is to
\nencourage residents to enjoy the outdoors in the hinterland of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. Yesterday was
\nA formal contract was signed with Gu\u00f0ni G\u00edslason, owner of the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Rat Race.

\npresented in an interesting way. The treasure hunt begins every year at the beginning of June and ends
\nin mid-September. Participants, who have now numbered in the hundreds over the years
\nwherever, have this time to collect 27 scavenger hunt clues that are located
\nThroughout the town's hinterland. The maps are available free of charge, for example, at Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Town Hall and Fjar\u00f0arkaup.,

An ambitious health strategy for the health town of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Municipality of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur entered into an agreement with the Office of the Director of Public Health in March 2015 to participate in the 'Health Promoting Community' project, and the municipality, in collaboration with residents, staff and other stakeholders have developed the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's health strategy and put forward an action plan that directly addresses the strategy. One of the main objectives of the Health Strategy for Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur is to foster the general well-being of residents, both mental and physical, at all ages, and to strengthen and promote self-esteem and good mental health. The health strategy supports the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's vision for the future of increasing the well-being of its residents through preventative measures.<\/p>\n
