These are family-friendly walks, taking approximately 60-90 minutes, which are primarily intended to encourage people to get out into nature and be active in good company, thereby improving their health and quality of life.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Join in!<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4>The public health walks in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur in September will be as follows: <\/p>\n<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Wednesday, 4 September at 6 p.m.&nbsp;<\/strong><em> <a href=\"\/en\/human-life\/events\/vidburdir-framundan\/matarganga-um-midbaeinn\/\" class=\"internal\">Food tour of the city centre. <\/a> <\/em>Tryggvi Rafnsson leads guests<br \/>\nbetween several carefully selected restaurants where the owners will present their businesses<br \/>\ntheir own and even offer a tasting. The walk will depart from Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Church at 6 p.m.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wednesday, 11 September at 6 p.m.<\/strong> <em> <a href=\"\/en\/human-life\/events\/vidburdir-framundan\/fjolskylduganga-um-hvaleyrarvatn\/\" class=\"internal\">A family walk around Lake Hvaleyrarvatn.<\/a> <\/em> The Sports Elf will lead a family walk around<br \/>\nHvaleyravatn. Fun exercises and challenges for the youngest walkers. The walk<br \/>\nwill depart from the car park north of the lake at 6 p.m.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wednesday, 18 September at 6 p.m. <\/strong><em> <a href=\"\/en\/human-life\/events\/vidburdir-framundan\/soguganga-um-krysuvik\/\" class=\"internal\">A history walk around Grindav\u00edk. <\/a> <\/em>J\u00f3natan Gar\u00f0arsson leads a walk up Arnarfell in<br \/>\nKrysuv\u00edk. The walk will start from the church in Krysuv\u00edk at 6 p.m. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Wednesday, 25th September at 8 p.m.<\/strong> <em> <a href=\"\/en\/human-life\/events\/vidburdir-framundan\/aevintyraganga\/\" class=\"internal\">An adventure walk for young people. <\/a> <\/em>An adventure walk for young people in the local area around youth centres.
