In recent months, life has been returning to the old
\nthe premises of St. Joseph's Hospital in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. The building was today, on its 93rd anniversary of its dedication.
\nof it, was formally opened as a quality of life centre and will house the activities of companies that
\nbuild on the estate's values and focus on health, community and creativity. Fifteen companies already have premises in
\nat the centre and they will offer services aimed at promoting and enhancing health
\nand the quality of life of the residents and friends of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur in one way or another.<\/em><\/p>\n

Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's purchase of a shareholding
\nThe State's in St. Joe in the summer of 2017 involved a two-way commitment, on the one hand to
\nto keep the provision of public services in the house to a minimum for 15 years and, on the other hand, to begin
\noperation in the house within three years of the signing of the contract. Now that just over two
\nSeven years have passed since the purchase, the house has been reopened and is thus secured.
\nA new lease of life and a continuing story after six years of uncertainty where all
\nThe activity in the house ceased in 2011. \u201eThis
\nThe house comes with a profound story at every step, which will live on with the house and in
\nthe hearts of all those who in some way came to know the work of the Sisters of St. Joseph
\nat the hospital. The businesses of the quality of life centre are already beginning to make the history that we
\nwe will see in the house in the coming terms. Psychologists, coaches, have arrived here,
\nassociations, educational centres, yoga and health promotion for senior citizens, to name but a few
\nTo name but one: increased services in a wide range of areas in the Health Village of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.\u201c <\/em>said

\ntoday. The development at St. J\u00f3 is being carried out in phases and with today's official opening, it is the second.
\nthe house's floor, in addition to the chapel, has been put into use. The floor is already full and
\nThere is a waiting list, but looking to the future, when other floors are ready, is
\nplenty of vacancies and always open to applications. This summer, moved
\nThe Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Theatre Society into the old chapel and will use the premises, whether or not
\nis for rehearsals and as a venue for their work. They have recently
